DMC Ljubljana – 10 of the Best Things to do in Ljubljana / Organised by your DMC Ljubljana
At just 163 sq kms in size and a population of only 288,000, Ljubljana might not compare in size to some of the mightier European capitals, but it packs a punch when it comes to beauty, sights and a plethora of things to do. As the region’s leading DMC, Ljubljana is our base and our home. We know it like the back of our hands.
Ljubljana is a picturesque city, blending baroque and renaissance architecture from outside influences with the stunning designs of Slovenia’s most famous architect Joze Plecnik. Slovenes themselves are outdoor people, and that includes city dwellers. You’ll find the streets of Ljubljana alive with locals and visitors alike, at all times of the year.
But the beauty of the city is in its compact size, meaning everything is within walking distance. This also means our DMC can ensure you get the most out of the short time you may have here, and fill your days and nights with a variety of activities. To give you an idea, here are just 10 of the best things to do in Ljubljana.
